River
About
Tsolum River is formed by the merging of the Puntledge River and Courtenay River, which then flows through the city before emptying into Comox Harbour. The area is known for its rich tidal estuary that supports a diverse range of wildlife, including the protected Trumpeter Swan. Visitors can enjoy a beautiful river park with ample parking and easy access to the water for swimming or picnicking. The surrounding trees provide shade on sunny days, creating a peaceful escape from urban life.

Beautiful river park. Nice area for swimming. Lot's of parking in the area. Easy and short walk to the river. A few nice places to enter the river to have a swim. Also some good places to have a picnic. The day was bright and sunny but the trees provide great shade for the day. Watch foe bikes on the trails they come up on you quickly.
A great escape from the busy life in the city. Drive carefully- horses in the area on the road. Pass wide and very slowly please!
