Jim Bowden

When he became GM for the Reds in 1992 at the age of 31, Bowden was the youngest general manager in MLB. He eventually led the Reds to a 96-win season with one of the smallest payrolls. Prior to joining SiriusXM, Bowden was a host on Fox Sports Radio and worked as an analyst and co-host for ESPN.

Jenny Cavnar

Jenny Cavnar became the first woman in Major League Baseball history to serve as a club’s primary play-by-play voice when she took over Oakland Athletics TV broadcasts in the 2024 season. The Emmy Award winning Cavnar spent five seasons (2007–2011) in San Diego covering the San Diego Padres. and then covered the Colorado Rockies from 2012-2023. Cavnar made baseball history in 2018 as the first woman in 25 years to do play-by-play for an MLB game. In 2015, she was the first female to provide analysis for a series of NL games in the radio booth. Born and raised in Aurora, CO, Cavnar attended Colorado State University where she was the captain of the women’s club lacrosse team.

    Prior to joining SiriusXM, Jim Duquette served as Vice President for Baseball Operations for the Baltimore Orioles, and worked in nearly every front office position for the New York Mets—from assistant for the team’s scouting and minor league departments to senior vice president of the franchise.

      Mike Ferrin

      Ferrin’s radio career began in 1996 as a classic rock DJ in Dubuque, Iowa. He later served as sports director for WLOI/WCOE in LaPorte, Indiana, and as a sports producer, anchor, and field producer at WGN Radio in Chicago. Ferrin was added to the SiriusXM roster during the 2007 All-Star Break.

        Kevin Frandsen

        A member of Washington’s 2014 National League East Division championship team, Kevin Frandsen joined MASN and the Nationals in 2022 after four seasons as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies radio broadcast team. He was hired by Philadelphia in 2018 and worked select road games on the Phillies Radio Network before his role expanded in 2019 to include the majority of the road schedule along with several home broadcasts. Since 2019, Frandsen has also hosted shows on MLB Network Radio. From 2016 to 2019, Frandsen worked on AM radio in the San Francisco Bay area. He co-hosted “KNBR Tonight” KNBR 680 AM and, prior to that, spent a year as co-host for KNBR 1050 AM’s morning drive show, “The Audible.” Frandsen is a veteran of nine Major League seasons with the San Francisco Giants (2006- 09, 2015), Los Angeles Angels (2010), Philadelphia Phillies (2012-13) and Washington Nationals (2014). A versatile defender and utility player, he saw action at second base, third base, first base, outfield, shortstop and designated hitter during his Major League career. Frandsen is a native of San Jose, Calif. and was selected in the 12th round of th 2004 First-Year Player Draft out of San Jose State University where he set the all-time record for career hits (246). Following the passing of his brother DJ in 2004, the Frandsen family started the 19 For Life Foundation, created to celebrate the gift that DJ Frandsen was to his family, friends and his community. The 19 For Life Foundation is a lasting legacy to DJ’s beliefs in giving back, making a difference, being a man for others and never giving up. Kevin and his wife Amanda live in Haddon Heights, N.J., with their daughter Tenley and son Daylen Jon (“DJ”).

            Kevin Kennedy

            Kevin Kennedy was manager of the Texas Rangers (1993–94) and the Boston Red Sox (1995–96). Kennedy joined FOX Sports in 1999 as its MLB studio analyst and was nominated for two Emmy® Awards. Prior to joining FOX, Kevin spent two years at ESPN Radio as a color analyst.

              Tyler Kepner

              Tyler Kepner has been the national baseball columnist for The New York Times since 2010. He has covered the Yankees (2002-09) and the Mets (2000-01) for the Times, the Mariners (1999) for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and the Angels (1998) for the Riverside Press-Enterprise. He attended Vanderbilt University, and started his baseball writing career at age 13 with a self-published monthly magazine in his hometown of Philadelphia. He has a wife, four children, and a dog named Lefty.

                Jensen Lewis

                Jensen Lewis is a multi-faceted, on-air personality who joined the Guardians (then Indians) broadcast team in 2013. Lewis’s primary role is co-host and analyst on Guardians Live on Bally Sports Great Lakes, the pre- and post-game shows for Cleveland Guardians telecasts. He also appears on the Guardians in-game television broadcasts. Lewis graduated from Anderson High School in Cincinnati, OH, in 2002, then Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications. He currently resides in Westlake, OH. The former relief pitcher and 2005 third round draft pick (102nd overall), Lewis played for the Indians from 2005–11, spending four seasons (2007–10) with the big league club. He finished his professional career with a single season both in Arizona (2012) and with the Chicago Cubs (2013). Lewis helped lead the Indians to the 2007 AL Central Division title and within one win of reaching the World Series that postseason. He finished his big league career with a record of 7–11 and 3.68 ERA, collecting 14 saves and 177 strikeouts in 198 career IP. Lewis was nominated in 2010 for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award, presented by Chevrolet to the player who combines a dedication to giving back to the community with outstanding skills on the baseball field. The award recognizes players who best represent the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement, and positive contributions to their Clubs. He continues to regularly serve Cleveland Indians charities.

                  Jim Memolo

                  Jim Memolo is a veteran of New York, Chicago, and network radio. He has a keen eye for baseball talent, and once, while hosting a show in NYC, suggested the Yankees take a look at a promising Reds minor leaguer named Rob Dibble. He has spent the last two decades in Chicago radio, covering the Cubs.

                    Jon Morosi

                    Jon Paul Morosi has worked as a national baseball reporter for FOX Sports since 2009 and MLB Network television since 2012. He served as the field reporter for FOX Sports 1 telecasts of the 2014 National League Division Series between San Francisco and Washington. Morosi has been honored for his writing at FOXSports.com and the Detroit Free Press, where he worked from 2006 until 2009. A native of Michigan, he graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2004 with a degree in environmental science and public policy.

                      CJ Nitkowski

                      CJ Nitkowski was the 9th overall pick in the 1994 draft out of St. John's University. His playing career spanned 19 seasons with 8 different Major League clubs. He also spent four years pitching in Japan and South Korea. In addition to his duties at MLB Network Radio was the lead color analyst for the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers on television, and is currently a television analyst for the Atlanta Braves. In his first five seasons as the Texas Rangers lead television analyst he has been nominated for 9 Emmy Awards and has won 6 times. He is a member of the St. John’s Athletic, Don Bosco Preparatory HS and New Orleans Zephyrs Halls of Fame. His previous work has been as a studio analyst, writer, and in-game color analyst for Fox Sports, MLB.com, MLB Network, ESPN.com, Baseball Prospectus, SB Nation, Sports Illustrated, the Associated Press, YouTube, CBS Sports Network, and the NY Yankees and New York Mets Radio Networks. He has also done play-by-play nationally for Fox and continues in that role with the Texas Rangers for approximately 10 games per season. In 2012 he played the role of Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Dutch Leonard in the Warner Brothers Pictures film 42, which chronicled the life of Jackie Robinson. He was also a script consultant and appeared in cameos for the short-lived Pitch which aired on Fox. Nitkowski claims to hold several unofficial baseball records including being the NY Mets All-Time ERA Leader (0.00 in 5.2IP), the Most Consecutive Hit Batters in a Game (3), the only pitcher to record 1-pitch wins in both MLB and NPB and the player to collect the most playoff shares in history without actually appearing in the postseason (4).

                        Grant Paulsen

                        Grant Paulsen spends his free time hosting Minors and Majors, a weekly live two-hour national sports talk show. He provided the play-by-play during the Ripken Baseball World Series in 2005 and, in 2003-2004, reported on the Little League World Series as well as Superbowl XXXVII for ABC Television.

                          Steve Phillips

                          Steve Phillips was the general manager of the New York Mets (1997–2003) before joining ESPN as a baseball analyst. He regularly appeared onSportsCenter,Cold Pizza,Outside the Lines,and ESPN Radio. After four years on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Phillips is now a host both on Fantasy Sports Radio and MLB Network Radio, where you can hear him weekday mornings on The Leadoff Spot.

                            Ed Randall

                            Ed Randall’s name is nationally recognized and generally considered synonymous with baseball. Having cultivated a winning national broadcasting career, he is held in the highest esteem as one of the game’s foremost authorities. Called one of the patron saints of baseball, Randall is an evangelist for the game, and thought of as one of the nation’s preeminent baseball interviewers on television and radio. Throughout his career, he has been a committed and active participant in many charitable causes. His most important life’s work though is as a cancer survivor, having established Ed Randall’sFans for the Cure, a 501-c3 charity dedicated to the proposition of spreading the twin gospels of prostate cancer awareness and the life-saving value of early detection, to which he can personally attest. He was inducted into his high school hall of fame and is a distinguished alumnus of Fordham University where he serves on the Fordham College Alumni Board.

                              Ricky Romero

                              Ricky Romero grew up in East Los Angeles, California . He attended Cal State Fullerton and in 2004 helped lead the team to the National Championship. In 2005 he was drafted 6th overall by the Toronto Blue Jays and in 2009 he made his MLB debut vs the Detroit Tigers. Ricky represented the American League in the All star game in 2011. After 10 years in the Toronto Bluejays organization and 2 years in the San Francisco Giants organization Ricky officially retired in 2018. He now resides in Southern California with his wife and 3 kids.

                              Xavier Scruggs

                              Before joining MLB Network Radio, Xavier Scruggs was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 19th round. He played 12 years professionally, including three years in the Major Leagues (Cardinals and Marlins), and has played internationally in South Korea, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Columbia. Currently, he hosts a podcast for MLB.com, appears weekly on MLB Network Radio, and is an ESPN commentator as well as a DEI consultant for MLB teams.                                 Ryan Spilborghs

                                A Santa Barbara, CA native, Spilborghs was recruited to play baseball at the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he was a two-time Big West selection. After being selected by the Colorado Rockies in the seventh round of the MLB 2002 First-Year Player Draft, he spent six seasons as an outfielder for the team, hitting .272 with 42 home runs in 619 games. Spilborghs also did his part to advance the 2007 and 2009 Rockies teams to the postseason. One of his most notable achievements came against the Giants in late August of 2009 when he hit the first walk-off grand slam in Rockies team history.

                                Mike Stanton

                                The former MLB relief pitcher played for 19 seasons, appearing in nearly 1,200 games while suiting up for eight different teams. Stanton was an all-star in 2001, and won three World Series titles with the New York Yankees. He joined the MLB Network Radio team in 2011.

                                  Dani Wexelman

                                  Dani Wexelman hosts multiple shows on MLB Network Radio. She covers college baseball for ESPN as a play by play broadcaster and sideline reporter and also covers top prospects at the high school level for Perfect Game.                                     The long-time Major League Baseball reliever joined the MLB Network Radio on-air staff in 2023, and can be heard every Sunday at 1p ET on Sunday Sliders, with Dani Wexelman.                                       Eduardo Perez joined MLB Network Radio prior to the 2015 baseball season as co-host of The Leadoff Spot. Eduardo returned to ESPN in 2014 to serve as a Baseball Tonight analyst and was named to the Sunday Night Baseball team in 2022. He was previously on the Monday Night Baseball team since 2016. One of ESPN’s signature baseball analysts, Pérez regularly contributes to ESPN studio shows, event coverage and MLB on ESPN Radio. He is also an analyst for the Men’s College Baseball World Series.Pérez has been a staple of ESPN’s international MLB game telecasts, providing coverage of historic games such as the 2016 spring training game in Cuba, regular season games in Mexico and Puerto Rico, and the Japan Opening Series in 2019.Pérez also currently hosts shows on SiriusXM’s MLB Radio.Pérez has also served as the primary analyst on ESPN’s innovative, data-driven Statcast alternative viewing experiences, which surround signature MLB events such as the Home Run Derby and Wild Card game. Pérez was previously an analyst at ESPN from 2006 through 2010.Pérez has also served as bench coach of the Houston Astros (2013) and hitting coach of the Miami Marlins (2011-2012). In 2008, Pérez was named Manager of the Year in the Puerto Rico Baseball League, leading the Leones De Ponce to the league championship. He also managed Colombia in the World Baseball Classic qualifying round in 2013.Pérez spent 13 seasons (1993-2006) in the Major Leagues, primarily as a first baseman, for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Rays, Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariners. Pérez had his best season in 1997 while with Cincinnati, reaching career highs in home runs (16), RBI (52) and games (106).Pérez was drafted in the first round by the Angels in 1991 after leading the Florida State University Seminoles to the College World Series that same season. His father, Tony Pérez, is a Baseball Hall of Famer.

                                        Justin Morneau

                                        Former American League MVP Justin Morneau joined the MLB Network Radio on-air staff before the 2024 season. Justin is a special assistant for the Minnesota Twins, having joined the Twins front office on January 17, 2018. Morneau, 42, was drafted by the Twins in the third round of the 1999 First-Year Player Draft and played 14 seasons in the major leagues, including 11 seasons with the Twins from 2003-13. He also played for Pittsburgh, Colorado and Chicago-AL from 2013-16. The 4-time All-Star can also be seen on Minnesota Twins television broadcasts.

                                          Chris Gimenez

                                          10-year veteran MLB Catcher Chris Gimenez joined MLB Network Radio during the 2020 season. In his decade in the majors, Chris played for the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians), Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, and Seattle Mariners. After retiring from active playing, Chris was the game planning coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2018 through their 2020 World Series Championship season. Chris resides in Reno, Nevada.
